Challenge 16

いよいよchallenge 16です！今回も多くの方からの応募があることを
祈ってます。

さて今回も素敵なゲストデザイナーさんをお招きしました。
Primaやいろいろなメーカーのデザインチームをされている

Iris Babao Uy さんです。



I am a scrapper from The Philippines, a wife, and a mother to two sweet girls Nicole who is five years old, and Cheska who just turned one. I rarely plan my pages –

I am fortunate to be designing for Prima Marketing, Webster’s Pages, and October Afternoon. I am also part of two scrapbook inspiration sites: Pencil Lines, and Creative Therapy. One of the things I consider to be among my accomplishments in the crafting industry is to have been named as one of the 2008 Memory Makers Magazine Masters. I am honored to have my work published in magazines and books. I am thankful for the blessings which have come my way as an artist and will continue to be thankful for the happiness and fulfillment that I get from this craft. I am now focusing on creating and teaching scrapbooking classes and would love to be able to visit Japan one day and meet all the wonderful scrappers in your country. I feel privileged to have been invited as a guest designer for Scrap In Japan. I look

I love the simple design yet detailed work. Very pleasing to the eye and the use of negative space within the alpha stickers is brilliant.

I love the fun subject and sweet embellishments. Such fun little details as the bottle cap in the center of the bow and the twine arrow pointing to the photo made this layout stand out to me.

あけましておめでとうございます。本年もよろしくお願いいたします。
さて今年初めてのゲストデザイナーは



Lynn Ghahary さんです。





My name is Lynn Ghahary and I live in Northwest New Jersey with my husband and high school sweetheart Salar and our two wild and crazy boys Darian (age 5) and Brandon (age 3.5). I was first introduced to the wonderful world of scrapbooking way back in 2000. As a young girl I had always loved to be artsy and creative so this hobby was right up my alley and I was hooked immediately! Unfortunately I didn't have much time to scrapbook as I worked a very demanding full-time job and I did a lot more dabbling and buying supplies for projects I wanted to create than actually using them (although don't we all! LOL). I took a break completely in 2004 when my first son was born and didn't really come back to scrapbooking "full time" until early 2008.


Now that I'm back I am here to stay and have been completely in awe at how far this amazing craft has come since we first "met" over 9 years ago! Scrapbooking is my creative outlet – it lets me get in touch with who I am and my goals and dreams for myself and my family, all while preserving our most cherished family photos and memories. Not only do I love to scrapbook but I also love to create paper crafts of all kinds including cards, mini albums, and altered items. I also love to stamp on paper creations and try out new techniques. I am lucky enough to design for several wonderful manufacturers and have had my work published in several magazines including Creating Keepsakes, CARDS, Paper Crafts, Scrapbooks Etc, Scrapbook Trends, and Scrapbooks and Cards Today. I also maintain a blog with all of my crafty creations at

In addition to scrapbooking I am an avid gardener, bookworm, and wannabe photographer. I am also a self-professed reality TV show junkie and organizing diva. I am thrilled to have been asked to be a Guest Designer for Scrap in Japan - thank you!

第２期デザインチームを募集したいと思います。今回は2010年2月～
2010年4月、５月以降出産のためちょっとお休みしますので
復活後２回（２ヶ月）（復帰予定は未定ですが）担当してくださる４名の
方を募集させていただきます。

特に何か報酬等があるわけではありませんが
こちらで作品を載せていただける方、経験等問いません。
一緒に盛り上げてくださる方、多くの方からの応募お待ちしています。

こんにちは。早いものでもう今年も今月で終わりです。
クリスマスやら、年末の大掃除に追われなんだかあっと言う間に
すぎていきそうな。。。
インフルエンザもはやっていますので、みなさん気をつけてくださいね。

さて今月のゲストデザイナーさんはこちらの方です！
Two Peas In a Bucket のガーデンガールやMaking Memoriesのデザイナー
でもある
Wendy Bretzさんです。
My name is Wendy Bretz and I live in a small town located in Western New York along Lake Erie. I am a full-time working mother to an adorable, energetic little girl named Hannah. I started scrapbooking about 6 years ago when Hannah was born. My style of scrapbooking is very clean, simple and graphic. I have been published in Creative Keepsakes, Scrapbook Etc, Simple Scrapbooks and Scrapbook Trends Magazines. I am honored to say that I am a Garden Girl at Two Peas In a Bucket and design for Making Memories. I also create and design for Smilebox through Making Memories and I am a 2007 Hall of Fame Winner for Creating Keepsakes Magazine.


I am thrilled to be your Guest Designer this month and can't wait to see what you all come up with!
